🏈 The free NFL break template

Football is the biggest category in card breaking, and a 32-team NFL break is the format most Whatnot breakers run first. This template gives you all 32 teams pre-loaded with division and conference, columns for buyer, price, and payment status, and a P&L sheet that computes your real profit after Whatnot fees the moment you enter your box cost.

How NFL breaks are structured

NFL breaks split cleanly into 32 spots, one per team, which makes random team breaks and PYT (pick your team) both work well. The template groups teams AFC East through NFC West so buyers can see divisions at a glance, the same ordering you'd want on a stream board. Big-market teams (Cowboys, Chiefs, 49ers, Eagles) carry premium PYT pricing while the back half of the league fills out random spots.

Pricing your spots

A typical hobby-box NFL break prices PYT spots on a curve: the top 5 teams might carry 3-4x the price of the bottom 10. The template's price column totals automatically against your box cost so you can see your break-even before you post the show. Pair it with our break profit calculator to test pricing curves in seconds. Try the break profit calculator →

What products it works for

The template works for any football product. Prizm, Select, Donruss, Topps Chrome (back in football since 2026), Mosaic, or multi-box mixers. Spots are rows; add or duplicate rows for multi-box formats.

The spreadsheet tracks. The live board sells.

BreakTemplate turns this exact template into a live OBS board, 32 team cells on your stream that fill in with buyer names within ~2 seconds of a sale, with claim animations your viewers actually react to. One URL in OBS, no spreadsheet screen-sharing.
