Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

BreakTemplate (“we”, “us”) provides a hosted dashboard for Whatnot break sellers. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what your rights are.

2. Data we collect

  • Account information. Provided through our authentication partner, Clerk: name, email, and optionally a profile image. We never see your password.
  • Capture data. The break, spot, and buyer information you enter or import (manually, via CSV, or via our browser extension). This may include Whatnot usernames of your buyers and prices paid.
  • Payment information. Processed by Stripe. We store only an opaque customer ID and subscription metadata. Card numbers and bank details are never transmitted to or stored by us.
  • Usage data. Standard server logs and aggregated product analytics, used to operate and improve the Service.

3. How we store it

Customer data is stored in a managed Postgres database (Neon), encrypted at rest and in transit. The data model is multi-tenant with strict per-user filtering on every query, so your data is never returned to another account.

4. Third parties (sub-processors)

We rely on the following sub-processors to operate the Service:

  • Clerk — authentication and identity.
  • Stripe — billing and payment processing.
  • Vercel — application hosting and edge delivery.
  • Neon — Postgres database hosting.

We do not sell your data to advertisers. We do not share Customer Data with third parties except the sub-processors above acting on our instructions, or where required by law.

5. Your rights

You can export or delete your data at any time by emailing the address below or, where available, using in-product controls. Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., EU/UK/California), you may have additional rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable period.

6. Retention

We retain Customer Data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion we remove your data from production systems within a reasonable period, subject to backups and legal retention requirements.

7. Children

BreakTemplate is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Do not use the Service if you are under that age.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice.
